This is a pair that was initially released in 2018 and sold out with the quickness, however it was never released in this cut, which is one of my favorites, so needless to say I was very excited to have the opportunity to pick up a pair. Years upon years of experience in the denim industry come to fruition in jeans like this, but you have to look close to capture it. Oni x Tanuki Type 3 Jacket 21.5 Oz Indigo Onis Secret Denim size 44 (XL). Today I am reviewing the Oni x Tanuki 21.5 oz collab in Tanuki’s own Regular Straight cut. Two of Japan’s most notable denim, Oni and Tanuki, makers have come together as one for this special pair of jeans the OTT1 in 20oz. When Tanuki sent me my first pair of jeans to review, I remember telling them that I really wanted them to make their Oni x Tanuki collaboration jeans in the regular fit. This denim jacket is constructed using an all-new 21.5oz denim from Oni, which has been dyed using Tanukis natural indigo rope-dye technique.
